INTENSITY MEASUREMENTS OF MOLECULAR SPECTRA Ⅲ. An Experimental Study of Band Intensities in O+2, CO and NO Band Systems

摘要

The measurement of the relative intensities of bond systems in the spectra of the aurorae and airglow is of great importance in the study of the processes which occur in the upper atmosphere. From laboratory intensity measurements, transition probabilities can be determined and applied to interpret the atmospheric intensities in terms of the excitation conditions.
