The Maintenance Engineering Plant Layout Standardization Program requires the use of Disco type color materials for the production in Diazole machines of colored overlay plant layouts and their blue line reproductions. RADC has conducted tests to establish specifications for the Diazo color foils to be supplied by two commercial firms and has assisted in revising plant equipment color classifications. The general results of these tests and consequent recommendations are given in this report.nThe use of a new intermediate developing sheet in producing the colored overlay sheets is urged because of its effect in equalizing the actinic opacity of the various colors, thud insuring uniform reproduction and eliminating expensive trial and error processing.
