The object of this research is to investigate the phase equilibria of selected ferromagnetic oxide systems

Phase equilibria in the system Fe-Ni-O have been investigated in the vicinity of NiFe204 up to a temperature of 1300℃. The stability of spinal solid solutions up to 1300 ℃ in oxygen pressures of from one atmosphere to 10-2atmospheres has been determined. Resistivity measurements have been made on NiFe2O4.-Fe3O4 solid solutions. Investigation of the system Fe-Mg-O has begun, although little data has been obtained thus far.
