Mutual interference between “Forward Propagation by Tropospheric Scatter” (“FPTS”) circuits and other communication circuits is examined for other-than-co-channel intrusions. The first sections and the Appendix of the report define the various types if interference and briefly analyze their causes and remedies.nRecommendations include possible means of reducing the interference and measurements that should be taken to enable the interference to the predicted more accurately.nA supplement is included covering co-band interference at 2000 Mc and second harmonic interference from 1000 Mc “FPTS” equipment.
