Metal Chelate Stability Constants of Aminopolycarboxylate Ligands

The stability constants for the reaction between a series of divalent metal ions with cyclohexand ediaminetetraacetic acid (CyDTA), diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (DTPA), ethyleneglycol bis-(β-aminoethyl ether)-N,N'-tetraacetic acid (EGTA), ethylenetherdiaminetetraacetic acid (EEDTA), and N-hydroxethylethylene-diaminetriacetic acid (HEDTA) have been determined potentiometrically with a mercury electrode. The stability constants for the reaction between lanthanum and diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid has also been determined by the same method.
