摘要

Thirty beams were fabricated and tested in static bending to determine the effect of lamination thickness, grain orientation, and direction of load with respect to the glue lines on the strength of curved and straight laminated members.nTest results indicated that, within the range of thicknesses studied (approximately 1/4" to 3/4") in curved and straight members, work to maximum load is greatest in beams composed of laminations 1/2" in thickness.
