摘要

(1) The superiority of nighttime performance on the coincidence range finder lends further support to the decision to select the coincidence instrument rather than the ster-eosoopic instrument as the optical ranging device to be used in tank gunnery. n (2) The need shown in this study for mechanical adjustment of the Internal Cor-rection System of the coincidence instrument was marked enough to indicate the importance of steps being taken to modify the ICS to reduce bias under a variety of target conditions.
