DIFFRACTION OF A PLANE WAVE. BY A RIGHT ANGLED WEDGE WHICH SUSTAINS SURFACE WAVES ON ONE FACE

We consider the diffraction of an electromagnetic plane wave incident on a right angled wedge with an impedance type boundary condition prescribed on one surface and a homogeneous boundary condition prescribed on the other. The impedance boundary condition is such that surface waves are generated. We present in exact mathematical solution and fine the amplitude of the surface wave. A simple asymptotic representation for the far field is also given.
