A study of the ratio-type of f-m demodulator was undertaken with the intent of applying it to the Model-RDO receiving equipment as a second detector. Its immediate application was to two such receivers primarily intended to provide for reception of f-m radio¬sonde signals in the range of 397-407 Mc.nA detailed discussion of both the discriminator circuits themselves and the conversion of the receivers is given in the body of this report.
