Recent Advances in Chemical Kinetics of Homogeneous Reaction in Dissociated Air

It is shown that the kinetics of certain types of homogeneous gas phase reactions should be considered in many flow problems involving diatomic gases at moderate temperatures. There are two general types of reactions: atom recombination ( A + A + M → A2 + M) and two body reactions (i. e. N + O2→ NO + O).
