THE APPLICATION OF POINT SOURCE PROJECTION TECHNIQUES TO HELICOPTER LOW-ALTITUDE NAVIGATION TRAINING

This report describes the results of a study to determine if a satisfactory visual presentation can be obtained with point light source techniques for application to a helicopter low altitude navigational trainer.nThe scope and the important elements of the problem were determined through interviews with pilots as well as from the require-ments of the contract specification.nA very promising point source projection system has been devised for use in helicopter low altitude navigational training.
