Effects of Nuclear Radiation on Magnetic and Ferroelectric Materials and Quartz A Literature Survey

Studies of the effects of nuclear radiation on the properties of magnetic and dielectric materials are of interest for both of these reasons. Although many properties and many materials are available for study, the present study is limited to the effects of radiation on the magnetic and dielectric properties of ferromagnetic materials, ferrites, ferroelectric materials, and quartz. This literature survey is one phase of a program to study the effects of fast neutron exposures in the range 1015 to 1018 n/cm2 on the foregoing properties and materials.
