PROCEDURES FOR ELECTROPLATING COATINGS ON REFRACTORY METALS

The purpose of this memorandum is to bring together a partial selection of procedures that have been employed to electroplate various metals onto the refractory metals, in an attempt to answer the question of how to produce sound, adherent electroplates on the refractory metals. Refractory metals covered are: vanadium, columbium, tantalum, tungsten, titanium, and molybdenum.
