The computed instantaneous velocities induced at the blade axes by the skewed helical vortices in the wake of a lifting rotor having 1, 2, 3, or 4 blades and operating in high-speed forward flight. Examples of the application of the results to find the approximate effects of finite number of blades and rotor angular velocity on the induced power required and on the instantaneous blade air loadings.
