Feasibility of a Method for Estimating Short-Term and Long-Term Effects of Policy Decisions on the Airman Personnel System

摘要

This report describes and indicates the utility of a model which simulates the flow of airmen through the Air Force personnel system under a given Bet of policies. This model makes it possible to estimate, with as much accuracy as is available in the input information, the effects of that set of policies at future points in time. These effects may be ganged in terms of the future distribution of grade levels, career fields, or other pertinent information which may be built into the model.
