DEVELOPMENT OF A FREEZE TEST FOR ZINC AND MANGANESE PHOSPHATING COMPOUND CONCENTRATES

The fallowing test was developed because of the need for a means of determining the storage and shipping properties of liquid pnospbate concentrates at lew temperatures (freezing and below). Liquid zine and manganese base ph-sphate compound con¬centrates were tested TO determine the optimum temperature to be used in a freeze test. Prepared samples were subjected for a period of one week to each of the temperatures, 20°F, 10°F: 0°F;and ~25 °F. From the date obtained, the following freeze test was developed.
