1.1tThis procedure describes the calibration of electronic meters which measure ac voltage, dc voltage, dc current, and resistance, a partial list of which is given below. The instrument under calibration will be referred to herein as the Test Instrument.n1.2 This procedure will verify correct performance of the Test Instrument within the required tolerances. Normally, each recorded value will be compared to its tolerance and corrective action taken, if required, before continuing the test. However, it is sometimes desirable to delay the verification and corrective action until several relaxed values have been recorded. Perform corrective action in accordance with the instruction manual and local laboratory practices. All data must be recorded on the Calibration Report form.n1.3 Read the entire procedure before starting the calibration.
