1.1 This procedure describes the calibration of the Hewlett Packard 400D, 400H, or 400L Vacuum Tube Voltmeter, herein referred to as the Test Instrument.n1.2 Section 4 of this procedure will verify correct performance of the Test Instrument within the required tolerances. Normally, each recorded value will be compared to its tolerance and corrective action taken, if required, before continuing the test. However, it is sometimes desirable to delay the verification and corrective action until several related values have been recorded. Fornthis reason, the operator is cautioned not to verify the data until instructed to do so. Perform any adjustments in accordance with Section 6 and other corrective action in accordance with the manufacturer's manual and local laboratory practices. All data must be recorded on the Calibration Report form.n1.3 Read the entire procedure before starting the calibration.
