EXOTHERMIC RISERING EFFECTS ON PROPERTIES OF CAST ARMOR STEEL

摘要

This is a limited study of the effects of the use of exothermic riser sleeves on the physical and mechanical properties of a cast armor test plate. The work reported herein consists of studies to determine hardness, macro- and microstructure, tensile and impact properties in areas adjacent to and removed from the riser area.
