This procedure has been prepared for use in BUWEPS and BUSHIPS Secondary Standards Laboratories. The government assumes no responsibility for the results forthcoming when the procedure is employed by parties other than naval labora¬tories.nThe procedure was specifically developed to utilize instruments presently at the disposal of the Laboratories of the Bureau of Naval Weapons and the Bureau of Ships. It is recognized that equivalent equipment produced by other manufacturers may be available to other laboratories and might be capable of equally satisfactory performance of the procedure.
