Effect of X-Ray Coloring on Addittively Colored Alkali Halides

Previous work of the writers on thermoluminescence of X rayed Na CI above room temperature and complementary investigations on other alkali halides load to propose a definite mechanism for this kind of thermoluminescence.nOn the grounds of the model we suggested, we tried to interpret also the isothermal bleaching of F centers, the results seeming quite encouraging.
