The purpose of this presentation is to review the work which has been carried out by and for the Quartermaster to develop a substitute for water-fowl feathers and down.nAll of this work was carried out with the guidance and assistance of the members of the National Research Council Advisory Board on Quarter-master Research and Development, Committee on the Development of Substitutes for Waterfowl Feathers and Down. Dr. Adolf Schubert is chairman of this committee.
