The program described above was originally proposed to the Air Material Command, Manufacturing Methods Division, Aeronautical Systems Center, in response to a proposal request and statement of work, Item PB-9-MMP-9026.nThis program had as its prime objective the investigation of the technical and commercial feasibility of producing high temperature alloy extrusion billets by powder metallurgy techniques.
