摘要

To make possible the production of micro-lesions in animal tissues, three methods were developed for the collimation of x-rays. Cir-cular apertures from 15 to 200 μ in diameter were made through lead 3 mm. in thickness, but alignment of these apertures with a source of x-rays was difficult. To eliminate time loss during alignment, a similar but more suitable aperture was produced by crossing two micro-slits.
