SOLAR IRRADIANCE FROM MERCURY TO PLUTO

For the purpose of astronautics, or space flight, in which we deal essentially with a radiation environment, a solar distance-radia¬tion table is just as necessary as the well-known altitude-pressure tables are in aeronautics, or flight within the atmosphere, which is es¬sentially a gaseous environment. Such a ra¬diation cartography of space represents an important part in the picture of a "geography" of space or, more correctly, of a general spatiography, and might be useful for studies in space medicine, astrobiology, and space tech¬nology.
