This procedure describes the calibration of the AN/USM-34 multimeter, herein referred to as the Test Instrument.nThe Test Instrument must be in normal operating condi¬tion before starting the calibration.nRead the entire procedure before starting the calibration.nThis procedure- will verify correct performance of the Test Instrument within the required tolerances. Perform corrective action in accordance with the instruction manual and local laboratory practices.nPerform this procedure in the order in which it is written. If necessary to perform one section alone, review the preceding sections in order to establish the correct connections and equipment control settings.nA sample calibration report form has been included at the end of this procedure. Section 5.14 and Appendix H of the Standards Laboratory Information Manual have been used for tolerance determination and related information. All data must be recorded on the calibration report form.nAll instruments used during this calibration must bear current calibration servicing identification tabs.
