摘要

The catalyst portion of a two package epoxy spray type coating for printed circuitry, as outlined in a proposed Military Specification, is required to contain, on a weight basis, fifty parts flexibi1izer, a difunctional mercaptan made from 98 mole percent of bis-(2-chloroethyl) formal and 2 mole percent of tri-chloropropane; twenty parts activator, a liquid polymer of 2, 4, 6 tri-(dimethyl-aminomethyl) phenol; and thirty parts solvent, methyl ethyl ketone.nAn ultraviolet spectrophotometric method for the analysis of this catalyst has been developed in which the three components are simultaneously determined by measuring the absorbance of a chloroform dilution of the catalyst at 286 mu and 262 mu.
