摘要

The relationships between mechanical properties, alloy composition, microstructure, and thermal history have been studied for high-purity titanium-base alloys. The alloy systems investigated include Ti-Al, Ti-Zr, Ti-Hf, Ti-Al-Zr, Ti-Al-Hf, Ti-Al-Cb, Ti-Cb, Ti-W, Ti-V-Cr, and Ti-V-Cr-Al. Mechanical-property data, including tensile and flow proper¬ties, impact behavior, hardness, aging, and cooling-rate data were deter¬mined. The metallurgical principles involved are discussed.
