An investigation was conducted to develop more proficiency in the fabrication of plastic tooling as a manufacturing aid in the production of Ordnance components. A limited study of the cementing and reinforcing characteristics of epoxy resins is presented. Four current production machining applications were selected and techniques for fabricating plas¬tic tools were developed. The plastic tooling applications were evaluated.
