Civil Aeronautics Manual Part 4-B establishes standards with which compliance shall be demonstrated for the issuance of and changes to type certificates for transport category airplanes. The part until superceded or rescinded shall apply to all transport category airplanes for which application for certification in the transport category are made after the effective data of the part, i.e. Nov. 9, 1945.
