The twenty-five papers presented at this conference are reproduced with illustrations, bibliography and discussion. Neurological aspects of patients with spinal cord injury included spasticity, phantom sensations in paraplegics, and spinal reflexes in spinal cord lesions. Blood pressure elevation and lung function problems were discussed. Problems associated with decubitus ulcers were addressed. Urological topics including tidal drainage, calcification, and cystometric and electromyographic aspects of topical anesthesia were considered. A report on simultaneous cystometry and electromyography, a method for studying the dynamics of voiding was presented. Statistics on marital problems of spinal cord injury patients were given. A group training program for families of spinal cord injury patients was described. Participants are listed and a classified index is provided.
