Biological, Chemical, and Radiochemical Studies of Marine Plankton.

The report discusses in detail the chemical and physical data on all oceanographic cruises and stations occupied between Montauk Point, Long Island and Bermuda between July 1958 to July 1961 under the U.S. Atomic Energy. The methods used have been standard oceanographic procedures, most of which are published in detail in the literature. A brief statement concerning methods used is included in the report to inform the reader about the procedures which have been chosen. Oceanographic procedures include temperature, chlorinity, chlorophyll a, dissolved oxygen, inorganic nutrients, inorganic phosphate, particulate phosphorus, total phosphorus, nitrate nitrogen, nitrite nitrogen, ammonia, and silicates.
