Use of Waste Heat for Production of Fresh Water

摘要

The study analyzes the use of waste heat, from different sources, for making fresh water from either brackish or sea water. The engineering difficulties and economics of such an operation are examined in detail. The study shows that waste heat should be utilized in any application of desalting where feasible. (Author)
