The research carried out was concerned with the following subjects: Recovery of potassium and sodium from saline waters by precipitation as a calcium sulfate double salt; Recovery of potassium from saline waters with iron and aluminum phosphate; Recovery of potassium from saline waters by precipitation with preformed magnesium ammonium phosphate; Recovery of potassium from saline waters by precipitation with preformed magnesia alba (3MgCO3.Mg(OH)2.3H2O).
