The procedure contains the information necessary for calibrating the HewlettPackard 3400A RMS Voltmeter. This portable instrument provides a means of measuring the actual root mean square (rms) value of alternating voltages between 1 mv and 300 v rms with a frequency response of 10 cps to 10 Mc. Nonsinusoidal waveforms with a ratio of peak voltage to rms (crest factor) as high as 100 can be accurately measured with the Test Instrument. (Author)
