A Study to Develop Methods for Improving the Training of Construction and Materials Inspectors

The report and training manual provide a comprehensive tool for training and developing construction and materials inspectors. The report was quite brief but was supplemented by the comprehensive training manual. Recommendations were contained in the report text. The training manual included sections on surface geology, soils and soil testing, compaction, earthwork, subbases and bases, concrete pavement, structures and bituminous pavements. (BPR abstract)
