Dynamic Scheduling in Airline Operations

The object of the study was to approach the problem of aircraft scheduling in a stochastic system through the use of simulation, and to explore typical dispatching strategies. A number of different rules were formulated using a combination of simple mathematical criteria and heuristics. (Author)
