Low Temperature Rolling of Upper Bainitic Structures

摘要

An investigation has been carried out on the effect of various low temperature rolling treatments on the mechanical properties of a typical upper bainitic steel. Rolling schedules and thermal treatments involving recrystallisation of the austenite, and also those involving deformation without recrystallisation, deformation during transformation and warm working of upper bainite, have been examined. Changes in mechanical properties have been correlated with changes in the microstructure. (Author)
