Patients Discharged from Short-Stay Hospitals by Size and Type of Ownership, United States, 1965

摘要

The purpose of the report is to study the characteristics of patients discharged in relation to the type of ownership and the size of the hospital which provided the care. More specifically, the report presents statistics on short-stay hospitals and on patients discharged from these hospitals according to size (determined by number of beds) and type of ownership of the hospital and to age, sex, color, marital status, and discharge status of the patient.
