High Temperature Telemetry Equipment for Reheating Furnace Studies

摘要

Telemetry equipment to measure slab temperatures in reheating furnace trials is described and the factors influencing accuracy in the furnace environment are analysed. The results show that the design problems encountered in operating this equipment at elevated temperatures have been solved. Special care is needed in connecting thermocouples to the equipment and in converting the received information into a suitable indication of slab temperature. (Author)
