The SOBS accepts an externally furnished input signal which is fed to a counter. The output of this counter is applied to a second counter. The outputs of the F/F's are matrixed to provide specified waveforms on six output channels. The acceptance of a mode change pulse changes the mode of operation and clears the second counter thus assuring a sequence initiation in less than 64 seconds. (Author)
