The Grinding of Veneer Knives

The report is a publication intended to provide information on the proper grinding techniques for veneer knives. This information is the result of extensive experiments in grinding, honing, and microbeveling carried out in the laboratory. Other valuable information was obtained through the co-operation of experts in the veneer-cutting industry, as well as the manufacturers of veneer knives and grinding wheels. Additional data were derived from comprehensive library surveys and technical notes supplied by producers of veneer knives and grinding equipment. (Author)
