摘要

A series of sixteen computer programs, including modifications of data handling and objective analysis programs previously prepared for the Federal Aviation Agency, were used to produce a Multi-station Physical Boundary Layer Model Program Sysgem. The programs accept airways weather data prepared on magnetic tape from the Automatic Data Interchange System (ADIS), weather data from the Atlantic City mesonetwork prepared on magnetic tape, and other surface and upper air data. These data are merged, objective analyses of surface weather parameters are prepared, and horizontal gradients and other functions of the parameters are derived. Initial vertical profiles and upper and lower boundary conditions for each of the prediction stations are prepared. A description of the program system with its options and restrictions is given.
