The Instruction reissues DoD Instruction 1205.12, September 11, 1967, to update procedures for assisting members of the Armed Forces, including the Reserve Components and disqualified applicants for enlistment, in exercising their re-employment rights; and providing assistance to separatees from active duty in obtaining civilian employment or training.
