Many developing countries have very limited supplies of fossel fuels but abundant sources of hydroelectric power.nPower lines are slowly being extended to agriculture, but appli¬cations are severely restricted by inadequate wiring, improper protection, and ignorance of productive electrical utilization.nThis paper reports a series of one-week workshops presented in Brazil in 1965-66 with suggestions for establishment of equiva¬lent courses in developing countries.
