EFFECT OF EROSION CONTROL LAND TREATMENT ON FLOW FROM AGRICULTURAL WATERSHEDS

摘要

The effect of vegetative and mechanical erosion-control practices, developed through research and widely applied in the national conser¬vation program, on water yield and floods is of current concern. Results of studies in Ohio, Iowa, Nebraska, and Texas are given to illustrate their effect on changes in flow, from agricultural watersheds.
