Precision Current Control for Tungsten Ribbon Filament Lamps

摘要

An automatic system to program the current through tungsten ribbon filament lamps has been developed. Tungsten ribbon filament lamps are used in the calibration of optical pyrometers from 800C to 2300C. For maximum accuracy, the current through the lamps needs to be known to 1 part in 10,000. The system developed determines and regulates the lamp current to better than 1 part in 10,000. (Author)
