These technical appendices to PB-185 241 contain detailed information relative to the 24 largest water supply agencies in the Denver metropolitan region. The agencies are listed in the index, and the existing and expanded future service area of each agency is given on the map, facing the index. Criteria were established by the Water Advisory Committee of the Denver Regional Council of Governments to assess objectively each water agency. Per capita consumption experience was documented and summarized for each of the agencies. Projections were made of water consumption on an average day basis. Maximum day to average day ratios were used for sizing raw water transmission and pumping, and miximum hour to average day ratios were used for sizing transmission and distribution mains, and treated water storage facilities. Population forecasts, by 1970 Census Tract, were used as the basis for projecting consumption in the suburban service areas. (Author)
