MECHANICAL MEANS OF HARVESTING BERRIES

A system of combined mechanical harvesting, in-field processing, and bulk handling of boysenberries is pro¬posed. Causes of poor fruit removal and excessive fruit damage are explained. Fruit quality can be greatly improved by proper handling and instant freez¬ing.
