摘要

A more dependable determination of seismic parameters is one method of increasing the effectiveness of seismic prospecting. Ultrasonic logging of velocity, or in a broad sense acoustical logging, was intended for obtaining highly accurate data on the velocities of elastic waves. However, such characteristics of acoustic logging as a high resolving power, the graphic form of the received data, and at the same time the limited radius of investigation have made it most effective for the study of borehole cross sections. This paper describes the sequence of stages of processing data from ultrasonic measurements on small base lines in boreholes for the purpose of determining velocities. This process combines the procedures used in seismic prospecting and industrial geophysics. (Author)
